Sales and SKUs

Your Vinted sales imported automatically, your sales made elsewhere entered by hand, linked to your stock's pieces, with their margin.

Vintarget reads the sales of your Vinted accounts and links them to the pieces of your stock. Each linked sale then knows its cost, margin and ROI (how my margin is calculated). It is part of the CRM add-on.

The Sales page

Open Sales in the menu. At the top, the totals of the chosen period (the current month by default): revenue, cost, profit, ROI, number of sales and average basket. They are your margin's figures, for the sales the table shows: the account, channel and status filters and the search apply to them too. Two gaps are on purpose. A refund or a return counts in the period it happened in: a sale from last month refunded this month weighs on this month's totals without showing in its list. And the "To link" count leaves out the cancelled or returned sales, which took nothing out of the stock. A sale missing a cost counts in the revenue but not in the profit, and the ROI shows once every cost is known.

The table shows the status, date, item, gross, cost, profit and SKU by default. The columns menu adds the buyer, country, carrier, ROI, note, account, channel and cashed date. A badge flags a bundle (“Bundle ×3”), a linked piece or a line to link. Filter by period, account, channel or status, or search for a sale.

Click a sale to open its card: the timeline of its statuses, the detail of its amounts and margin, the linked pieces (each with a link) and the listing. From the card you can mark the sale returned, putting its pieces back in stock or not, add an adjustment (refund, fee or other), enter a line's cost by hand, and link or unlink a piece.

To link. This tab lists the lines without a piece. For each, Vintarget suggests the reference read in the listing or a search by title. Link opens the stock search; Create the piece adds it to the stock with the cost you enter, then links it.

The page updates on its own: a new sale comes with its “Sold” notification, and the list is read again every minute while it is open. If an account's session expired, a banner says so with a Reconnect button: its sales stop coming until then. Without the CRM add-on, the page presents the add-on; once the add-on ends, it stays readable for 90 days, without changes. A role without the right to manage sales reads them without changing them.

Notifications. Owners and admins get “Sold: title +€12.40” (the profit, or the price while the cost is missing) for each new Vinted sale. Turn it off in Settings › Notifications. Past sales, read on an account's first sync, send none.

The SKU tag

End the listing's description (or its title) with the piece's SKU after a #, for instance #AB12 or #AB12.C3 (the code, then the location). The code must hold at least one digit. Emoji and hashtags after the tag are ignored: “Dress #AB12 ✨ #vintage” still gives AB12. Era and style hashtags are never taken for a SKU: #90s, #2000s, #1995, #y2k, #top10.

When the sale arrives, Vintarget takes the oldest piece in stock of that SKU and marks it sold. If no SKU has that code, the sale shows the reference detected and waits for you to link it.

The sync

Sales are read again every 15 minutes. A sale read twice is updated, never duplicated, and its status only moves forward (paid, shipped, delivered, completed). A cancelled sale puts its piece back in stock; a return marks it returned, to be checked.

If the piece enters the stock after the sale, it is linked automatically within a minute.

Linking by hand

A line without a tag can be linked to a piece, or unlinked (the piece comes back to stock). A line unlinked by hand is no longer linked automatically. You can also correct a line's cost and add a note.

Amounts are converted into the base currency at the sale day's rate; if that rate was not published yet, the value is computed again once it is. An employee sees only the sales of the accounts assigned to them.

Sales made elsewhere

A sale in person, on Leboncoin, eBay, Vestiaire Collective or elsewhere is entered by hand: the channel, the date, the pieces sold (one or more), the total price or each piece's price, the fees, the buyer (optional), the payout date (the sale's by default), the currency (your base currency by default) and a note. Choose where the sale stands: to ship, shipped, delivered or completed (the default).

The pieces then leave the stock (sold, then shipped once the sale is) and the sale counts in your margin like a Vinted sale. A piece sold already is refused, and nothing is recorded.

Fees per channel. From Fees by channel on the Sales page, set each channel's commission (in %, two decimals at most) and a fixed amount per sale: they prefill a new sale's fees, which you can always correct. The fixed amount is in your base currency; on a sale entered in another currency it is converted at the sale day's rate (with no rate known, enter the fees yourself).

Changing or deleting. A sale entered by hand can be changed (date, channel, prices, fees, buyer, payout) or deleted while its month is open: from the 1st of the next month its amounts (shipping label, packaging and costs included) stay as they are, so your past figures no longer move; only its note and carrier can still change. To change the currency, enter every amount again in the new one. To change the pieces, delete the sale and enter it again. Deleted, its pieces come back to stock as if never sold. Vinted sales cannot be deleted.

Duplicates. If you entered by hand a sale that was in fact a Vinted sale, Vintarget spots it as soon as the sync brings it: the same piece (or a piece of the same SKU, or the listing it was on) sold less than 48 hours apart. While both sales are in the current month, you can merge them: the Vinted sale keeps the piece you chose, along with your corrected cost, shipping label, packaging and note, and the manual sale goes away. The piece then follows the Vinted sale's state: sold while it is to ship, shipped once it has left, back in stock if the sale is cancelled.
