Bot purchases in the stock

Every purchase Vintarget pays (one click, accepted offer, Auto Cop) becomes a supplier order and a piece in transit in the stock.

With the CRM add-on, what Vintarget buys for you reaches the stock by itself: no need to copy the purchase by hand.

What is created

As soon as a purchase is paid (one-click purchase, accepted offer or Auto Cop), Vintarget creates:

  • a supplier order from the "Bot", in transit, dated on the payment: one line at the item's price, and Vinted's fees (buyer protection and shipping);
  • its piece, in transit, costing the total paid, fees included.

The amount keeps its original currency; its value in the base currency is converted at the payment day's rate, then frozen (see Currencies).

A purchase is never created twice, even when the payment's confirmation comes late.

Receipt

When the parcel arrives, open the order and click Receive: the piece is in stock, at the location you pick.

A pre-order (an item Vinted verifies before shipping) is expected later: about 30 days instead of 7.

Cancellation and refund

If Vinted cancels or refunds the purchase before delivery, cancel the order: the piece leaves the stock with the reason "cancelled", even if you had already put it in stock. A piece already listed or sold blocks the cancellation: take it off sale first.

A bot order cannot be deleted and its amounts cannot be changed: they are what Vinted charged. Its reference, notes or expected delivery can be, and it can be marked "to collect".

Activating the CRM add-on

The intake needs the CRM add-on. Purchases paid without it (before its activation, or while it lapsed) are not lost: on activation, those of the last 90 days are taken into the stock.

Settings

The automatic intake is on by default. A member whose role manages the stock can turn it off, and pick the location the bot's pieces go to. When you turn it back on, the purchases of the last 90 days paid meanwhile are taken in.
