Stock

Your pieces one by one or by SKU, inline and bulk editing, locations, the item page and the stock's settings.

The stock keeps every piece you bought to resell: what it cost you, where it is, what you expect to sell it for. It is part of the CRM add-on. Open it from CRM › Stock.

The summary

At the top of the page, six cards sum the stock up: its value at cost, the potential revenue (your estimated prices), the pieces in stock, in transit, listed and dormant. Amounts are in the workspace's base currency.

By piece

The table lists the pieces, the newest first: title, SKU, condition, location, status, cost, estimated price, potential margin, age and origin (Bot, Vinted, Supplier, Import or Manual).

  • Search a title, a brand or a SKU; filter by status, origin, location, brand, or only the dormant pieces; sort by age.
  • Edit inline: double-click a cell (or press Enter) to change the SKU, location, status, cost or estimated price. Enter saves, Escape cancels. If someone changed the piece meanwhile, Vintarget says so and reloads the row.
  • In bulk: check pieces, then change their status, location or estimated price (a value in your base currency, which leaves pieces priced in another currency alone, or a change in % between -99 and 1000, previewed before it applies), give them generated SKUs, take them out of stock with a reason, or export them.

On a phone, the pieces show as cards, the filters in a drawer, and the + button adds a piece.

Add an item

Add an item asks for the essentials: title, cost, quantity, SKU and location. Tick Series to add one after the other: the form stays open, with the same SKU and location.

Purchases made by the bot or on Vinted enter the stock on their own.

Export

Export downloads the pieces of the current filters; check pieces then Export to export only them.

  • Format: CSV or Excel (XLSX). The CSV uses a semicolon and a decimal comma, as Excel in French does; pick the comma for Google Sheets or an English Excel.
  • Columns: Bleam's by default (SKU, Item, Brand, Size, Condition, Location, Status, Cost, Estimated price, Purchase date, Age, Source, Notes…). The ID is there to import the file back. Add the category, remove what you do not need.
  • Amounts: each keeps its currency and decimals (0 for the yen, 3 for the Kuwaiti dinar), followed by its currency and its value in your base currency.
  • Dates: YYYY-MM-DD, or DD/MM/YYYY.

A text starting with =, +, - or @ is preceded by an apostrophe, so a spreadsheet never runs it as a formula. The import removes it: an apostrophe you typed yourself before these characters goes too. Every export is written to the audit log.

Import

Import brings your stock in from a spreadsheet.

  1. Download the template (CSV, or Excel with a Help sheet listing the columns, statuses and conditions accepted), or start from an export.
  2. Pick your file, CSV or XLSX (8 MB and 5,000 rows at most). Headers may be in English or French; unknown columns are ignored.
  3. Check: Vintarget says what it will create and update, the locations and SKUs it will add, and each error with its row. Nothing changes yet.
  4. Import: every row is imported at once, or none.

With Update existing items, a row updates the piece of its ID (an export's first column), or else the piece of its SKU; otherwise it creates a piece. When several pieces share a SKU, keep the ID column to change one of them. An export imported back this way changes nothing. The quantity does not change through an import: record an adjustment. A Photo URL column adds the photo to the piece, downloaded in the background.

By SKU

Each SKU with its pieces in stock, its average cost, its real revenue and margin, and its ROI. Click a SKU to see its pieces.

The item page

Click a piece's title to open its page: all its fields, its origin, and the journal of its movements (received, adjusted, moved, taken out…). From there you can adjust the quantity, take it out of stock, duplicate it or archive it: it then leaves the lists, its journal stays.

Locations

The Locations tab arranges your stock as a tree: a room, its shelves, their boxes. Each location shows how many pieces it holds. To delete one, choose where its pieces go.

Settings

  • Dormant after: the number of days after which a piece still in stock, unsold, turns dormant.
  • SKU prefix: put before the generated SKUs (VT gives VT1, VT2…).

Who can do what

The roles that see the stock read it; those allowed to export data export it; those that manage it change it, and import it when they also manage imports. Once the CRM add-on has ended, the stock stays readable for 90 days, with no change possible.

Shortcut: type a piece's title or SKU in the search (⌘K or Ctrl+K) to open its page.
